We need more parents like 'The Waltons'

- I'm 27 and have always loved the Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, and Andy Griffith. I could always--and still--relate much better to those families to the so-called "modern normal" families portrayed today.
Do you think the 'Captain Underpants' series should be banned from schools?

- Amen, MsGen! As a teacher I'm appalled at some of the books on the shelves, and roll my eyes when people wonder why many kids are so disrespectful and crude...ultimately it's up to teachers to not stock these books in their classrooms, and parents to not let their kids read them.

- Stupid kids. They're lucky they went to his house and not mine. Hope they smell like fox pee for weeks (evil grin). If it was my kid they would...that might make a good punishment...no shower until the smell goes away on its own...
